STRANGE SECRET SWORD HIDDEN IN 'SNAKE' NECKLACE
A masterpiece of Spanish weapons skill and craftsmanship of the middle of the 19th Century. This Strange Sword was prepared on special order for the presentation as the memorable gift to highly placed person. The exceptionally flexible blade was hidden inside the ring. These legendary blades were sold in the first half of the 17th Century and were being created in secret weapons benches, with the blades being concealed into the ring.
The Silver handle is made in the form the forward section of body and head of a poisonous snake with the eye inserts created from pink glass. In the lower part of the handle is the lock spring, which fixes the blade in the scabbard. Silver scabbards are prepared in the form of the snake.
